Evolution comparison "AiboLife 1", "AiboLife 2", "AiboLife 310" |
Three "AiboLife"s
There are three versions of AiboLife.- "AiboLife 1" (ERF-210AW01, $90). Works in ERS-210 robots.
- "AiboLife 2" (ERF-220AW01, $90). Works in ERS-210 and ERS-220 robots.
- "AiboLife 310" (ERF-310AW01, $90). Works in ERS-311 and ERS-312 robots.
Evolution Comparison
Take a look at the evolution charts for the three versions of AiboLife. Or download all ERS-210 and later evolution charts as a .PDF here. There is no direct comparison to the ERS-11x evolution. You will notice that "AiboLife 2" and "AiboLife 310" are similar. They use accumulated totals (experience points, real time and day count). These totals are numbers from when Aibo was born (and using that stick).On the other hand, "AiboLife 1" clears totals with each new stage change (evolution). To make an apples-to-apples comparison, look at the following table:
| Evolve to | Exp Points | Time | Days | QFactor | ||||||||

"310" = "AiboLife 310" (ERS-311, 312)
To learn how long it will take for AIBO to evolve (from the start of the current stage), read it as:
If I don't interact that much with my AIBO, he will evolve after ??? days.
For "AiboLife 2" a "Child B" will evolve to a "Young/Youth A" after being on for 25 hours and learning 40,000 experience points. If you only play with it a little each day, it will evolve in 10 days. NOTES:
Hours of "on time" are the same as real time.
Days are only counted if you play with your AIBO that day.
He will not evolve while you are on vacation.
The TOTALs follow the same rules as an approximation.
These times and the "QFactor" are reported by the Browser. The "QFactor" is the ratio of Exp Points to Time (points per 100 seconds). The "QFactor" in the table is the QFactor you should be trying to achieve (or exceed) if you want your AIBO to evolve as quickly as possible. For "AiboLife 1" there is a fixed "QFactor" (22.2%). For "AiboLife 2" and "AiboLife 310" the needed QFactor starts small, but then increases.
