Pooh and Tigger AIBO (210, 220, 31x)

Pooh Aibo and Tigger Aibo are two themed personalities created by 'teamdax'.

Supported AIBOs

Required Hardware:

An ERS-210 model AIBO OR
An ERS-220 model AIBO OR
An ERS-31x model AIBO (311 Latte, 312 Macaron or 31L Pug)
A Pink Programmable Memory Stick (AKA "PMS" or RCode stick) - ERA-MS008 or ERA-MS016, $34->$39
A memory stick reader to install the software (Use only Sony brand stick readers)

Installation:

Put an available PMS stick into your computer's stick reader
Select any folders you see at the root of the stick (usually OPEN-R and CUSTOM) and delete them. Do not format the stick.
Download the proper RCodePlus runtime for the model of your AIBO.
- For the ERS-210: RCode Plus 2.52 'A' (210)

- For the ERS-31x: RCode Plus 2.52 'A' (31x)
- (Save this .ZIP file on your computer. You may want to use it again later.)
Unzip this RCodePlus file to the root of your PMS memory stick.
Download one of the available personalities:
- Pooh: pooh23.zip (~ 1/2 MB)
- Tigger: tigger23.zip (~ 1/2 MB)
Unzip that file on top of your RCODE/PMS stick (replacing any files it asks about).
Put the memory stick inside your AIBO and start it up.
Play with your AIBO. Follow the instructions (see below).

Usage instructions - Winnie the Pooh (and Tigger too)

Winnie the Pooh and Tigger are two of the characters created by A.A. Milne, and later adopted by Disney- I am sure they need very little introduction

General information about personalities

Pooh and Tigger are two separate personalities. Either can run in a 210, 220 or 31x. If you have 2 Aibos, the two personalities are designed to compliment each other. For example if Pooh hears another Aibo, he will assume it is Tigger (and vice versa). If they are popular I may add other characters (?Eeyore/ ?rabbit/ ?piglette etc).

New feature: they can walk and talk at the same time.

Specific commands/ actions (for either personality)

Taking a photo - is a two-stage process. First press the head button When you release the head button he will make a suitable verbal command, and quickly take a photo. You can also use the voice command "Take a picture"

Singing - both characters have a cute boot tune (specific to each character)- you can replay this by saying sing a song. Pooh has a couple of other songs to discover.

Interaction/ Autonomy - Both personalities are fairly active. If you leave them alone they will wander around, occasionally singing/ humming to themselves. However they love to interact with people- so try talking to them- they respond very well to most of the standard voice commands.

Voice commands - most of the voice commands have been customised. Try them out to see what treats are in store. Both personalities will take directions (turn left, sit, stand, turn around etc). Some recommended voice commands include: "What's your name", "What's your owners name", "are you hungry", "cheer up"... Try out the others too- there are several surprises.
